About Arraigo del Amor

Nestled in the heart of the Alpujarra

Perched on the slopes above Niguelas in the Alpujarra Granadina, our finca sits at 1,400 metres — the highest vineyard in Spain. Terraced rows of vines share the land with a working wine cellar, an olive grove, and a natural pool fed by snowmelt from the Sierra Nevada.

Meet Your Host

Three generations of this hillside

My grandfather planted the first vines here in the 1950s, when nobody else believed grapes would ripen this high. I grew up between the terraces and the cellar, and now I get to share both with the guests who stay.

The Wine Cellar

Where the harvest becomes wine

Below the main house, a stone cellar keeps barrels at a steady, cool temperature year-round. Walk it yourself on a guided wine tour, ending in a seated tasting.
